On one of my sheets I have copy>pasted 4 blocks of stuff from excel. Each are set as "Line Art". When I goto print the sheet, only the very last block prints. However, when I change the blocks type to "Text" all 4 print, but come out extremely crappy looking... Ideas?

You may have exceeded your printer/plotters ability.

Either insert Excel as LT entities, or pick up 3rd party Excel handlers for
AutoCAD like:

Not that it has anything to do with your excel problem....we have two 430's
(cheap bosses), we've up the ram (32M I think) in both otherwise they would
perform horribly.

OLE plot files are huge, the HP430 is usually inadequate for the task if you
have already tried the option of setting processing IN COMPUTER on the
driver.

Original ram is 4MB. My HP Inkjet for $199.00 has 8MB :)

How can I tell how much memory I have in it?

I just popped open the back and there are two simms installed... the furthest back is labeled:

C3190-20104 and is about a 1 inch tall simm

(this number is NOT in my plotter manual as an upgrade part)

the closest has no serial number just numbers on the chips, of which have no meaningful serials or markings

(leads me to beleive this is the original chip)

anyone?

note: im going to post this in the plotter "forum" as well

Your plotter front panel should have a print-out option to display what you
seek.
