Has anyone found a way to print White Text with 2004lt ?
What I need is a colored background area with text inside
this area that when plotted is white. I`ve tryed several ways with no luck. the color must surround the text completely. ( Hatching with text in this area produces a box around the text plus the text is still the color that it is drawn with)
Thanks for any info on this

You don't, there is no 'white' found in your black ink cartridge ;)

You set the 'color' to something your plot style table will not PLOT, like
color 255 with settings such as Dither and Grayscale off, Color set to use
object color, screening set to zero.

There are several answers here to this question already. Do a search and you will probably find them. Maybe in earlier releases.

I would make my PC3 file overwrite colors. Then make the text color #255 (or some color you don't use for anything else). Then in your CTB file make that color print at 1% screening. Then move the background color to the back with the display order command.

By making the colors overwrite rather than merge, the text area will print blank since most plotters can achieve 1% screening. (My plotter can't get nearly that low.)

I hope this helps.
