Can someone tell me what plot or paper setting I have to change in order to do the following: I want to print (from paper space) a small piece of my drawing that i have selected w/ the window from the print window but i don't want the plotter to spool the typical paper size just for my tiny piece.

Window selection method, then change the paper size and/or your
printer/plotter selection.

I wouldn't screw the layout in case like that. Plot instead from ModelSpace
for what ever
window / paper size is needed, and your plotter supports.

Ok, I found the answer from someone here. It isn't an AutoCAD thing at all. In windows you have to edit the plotter itself. Under the Advanced tab in the Printer Preferences, check the option to Save Paper. Thanks anyway for the suggestions.
